Raise a Buck to Run Amuck!

LA CROSSE, WI—Looking for a more unique running experience?  Join the 2^nd Annual Big Muddy Run on Saturday, October 1 at La Crosse’s Myrick Park, starting at 10:45 am. Choose a 5k or 1 mile route, each with obstacles, mud pits and more!

Presented by Allergy Associates of La Crosse, with the support of many other local sponsor organizations (see www.bigmuddyrun.org/sponsors.aspx),  the Big Muddy Run promises to be a unique annual event to raise funds for the Children’s Museum of La Crosse, which receives no government or United Way support and maintains affordable access for the public. 

The Big Muddy Run is open to runners, age 7 and above, of all skill levels. Kids age 7-10 must be accompanied by a paid adult. Awards will be given to the top three individual male and female runners by age category. All participants will get a long-sleeved t-shirt and a drawstring backpack with an Oktoberfest button and other goodies!

Openings remain, but register now!  There will be a maximum of 250 participants.

Registration for this fundraising event is $100 for age 16+ , $75 for students, and $50 for age 7-15.  Your friends, family and co-workers will donate money to see you participate in this crazy, messy event—just ask them!  Raise extra donations and earn special prizes, like a plush beach towel, a hooded sweatshirt or a night at Wisconsin Dells’ Great Wolf Lodge!
